Mission Statement

Piles and piles of reusable recycled paper wastes are settled in landfills today. Applying the science and engineering together can convert this paper waste into high value products such as chemicals. Upcycled Aromatics is a creative, innovative company who aims to reduce landfill wastes, minimize environmental impacts, and increase the resources for these treasured chemicals by using the concept of synthetic biology to transform the recycled paper into our products. We are aiming to diverse our feedstock to not only recycled wastes but also other cellulosic wastes.
