AmberCycle Industries focuses on utilizing the platform of synthetic biology to improve the plastics recycling industry, by offering our customers a unique value proposition of promoting and providing for the use of environmentally sustainable material infrastructure while intuitively utilizing otherwise unusable resources.

The collegiate iGEM team at the University of California, Davis is currently engaged in engineering pathways in the degradation of poly (ethylene) terephthalate, or PET. In short, we wish to make successful commercial endeavors out of scientific academic work.
