Mission Statement
Piles and piles of reusable recycled paper wastes are disposed of in landfills today. Applying science and engineering together will allow us to convert this paper waste into high value chemicals. Upcycled Aromatics is a creative, innovative company which aims to reduce landfill wastes, minimize environmental impacts and increase the availability of important chemicals through the use of synthetic biology and genetic engineering principles. We aim to create a smart refinery which can not only accept diverse feedstocks, but can also produce diverse end products. Where others see waste, we at Upcycled Aromatics see opportunity.
